YouTube’s video player is horrible for several reasons:
It’s ugly. It looks as if the visual design was conceptualized by engineers and not designers. Everything Google does looks like this.
It has way too may features, and this makes it cluttered and not useful at all.

I have had Google Analytics code embedded in my Tumblr for just under a week (Shout to Shiv for the suggestion) and I’m starting to get statistics in.
Google uses the data from other sites of similar sites to create benchmarks and draw comparisons. In a week, I’m getting:
+828.57% more visits than than the benchmark.
+1,344.44% more pageviews than than the benchmark.
+65.80% more...
